Life is a strange thing.
You're only here for a while
and then you're gone again.
All your questions ignored
and unanswered.
The point of existence,
still a mystery.
Struggling to make your short time
somehow worthwhile,
before the inevitable exit;
before you start again
as someone (or something) else.

I'm 25, from Leeds, UK. I like to describe myself as a philosopher of sorts, I write poetry of the heart and soul. Currently trying to turn my hand to short story writing - will post first on here if I come up with anything good! Stay tuned!!
Isn't it sad. We all vanish… We all die… It's sad. We decease a Grim's banish… Lost souls in the sky. What about the living. We lose our friends… We lose family… Grim's gift giving… It never ends.
Do I have a life, have a soul, Or am I nothing more than flesh on bone. I live, I think, I breath, I know, But in years to come I'll be food for crows. Is life worth a life of living.
Round and round in circles No one can ever know Spend a lifetime searching Who will be there when we go.
Welcome to this lonely world. Once you're here there's no turning back. You're trapped here for eternity. Even when your body dies, your soul still lives. There's no exit, your stuck here forever.
I ride upon the whispering wind, I float upon the musty air; I am time, and time can wait, Time is everywhere.
What is this life that has come to be. Every day a reflection of what has made me Does everyone live it. Or with the smallest tap do they slip and sigh of the edge of the map.
Take this kiss upon the brow.
I was talking to death and he told me how everyone came to him for all the wrong reasons. They went for an escape from all the pain and suffering they called their life.
@Dovahkiin, why are your poems so good!? Seriously, they are all so inventive and are worded well ( worded probably isn't a word lol ) 😄😄😄
