Death

Round and round in circles
No one can ever know
Spend a lifetime searching
Who will be there when we go?

Between the clicking synapses where lies the absence of thought
Is that the nothing that lies ahead when all that's left is nought?

Nature abhors a vacuum where nothing lasts forever
Life always finds a way despite mans best endeavour

My soul alive in ethereal dreams beyond physical ties
How can my spirit where ego dwells be nothing more than lies

Listen close when I lay me down to sleep, fighting for last breath
The truth we seek is answered at last, when we welcome death

Dust

Why Ask Why?

Searching for a meaning when there's none to be found. Struggling to survive till you're six feet under the ground. There's more to life than figuring out what's in death.
