I'm not afraid of spiders, so don't you think I am,
But this one that I saw was bigger than my hand.
I thought of every news story of a tarantula in imported fruit,
I grabbed my old Nerfβ’ Gun and aimed ready to shoot.
I shot just to the left of it and it scurried away,
I decided to sleep until the next day.
But something woke me up before the sunlight reach my curtains,
It was that bloody spider, of that I was certain!
My lamp had fallen off the wall narrowly missing my head,
What had woken me up was it's thud against my bed.
I didn't know how it had fallen off and began to wonder why,
Then I saw the spider out of the corner of my eye.
That spider tried to kill me, but not through any bite,
This spider was trying to do that without getting in a fight.

In the park at night I trod, Nothing about this night is odd, The sky is an abyss of black, The theives must have stolen the stars and trapped them in a sack.
