In response to @Nom. Sorry my mind wanders a bit.
Sure people can be glued to their phones,
But the people affected aren't kids alone.
Adults on Facebook all the time,
Scoff at kids for it like it's some kind of crime.
Some kids are obsessed, but not all are,
In fact there are kids that from that are far.
We still play out, kick footballs, play tig,
Roll around on the floor, build sandcastle and dig.
In fairness it isn't technology,
Causing kids to rely on it, see.
Separation at school from their friends all day,
Kids just don't want it to be that way.
They text other classrooms, to stay in touch,
With friends they don't think they see very much.
They only use it with friends they can't see,
If they were kept together they wouldn't need (it)
To be perfectly honest kids just want company,
And the easiest way to get that is with technology.
People exaggerate the use when it's children of whom they speak,
When adults use technology more hours a week.
