Fire Bringer (Part 2 Chapter 6)

Chapter 6
Fire

Logan didn't see the two girls again for a long while, Tiwa absent from school to the male populations disappointment. He hadn't seriously thought about them since the game though, him mind on Emmet's behavior. He had acted strange since the girl had appeared, vying for her attention, paying little attention to Assandra- who he was known to dote over- and acting so sappy compared to his usual playful yet fierce personality.
Even now he was glancing anxiously around the room, his eyes dark enough that Logan swore they were almost bags. He looked outright sickly and nothing Logan said would sway him in his opinions on Tiwa.
He had just returned home, a cigarette held loosely in his mouth when he saw the other girl. He called a distracted hello to his mother and she replied in much the same way.
"I'll be back in a second, I see a- a friend from school." He stepped off his porch and followed the girl.
After leading him to the graveyard where he had first seen her she stopped, "Is there a reason you're following me?"
She hadn't even looked at him but Logan felt her curiosity, "What did Tiwa do to my friend?" The girl stilled even farther.
"What are the symptoms?" If that wasn't proof of the older girl's guilt he didn't know what was.
"Bags under his eyes, anxiousness, uncharacteristic sappiness."
"Damn witch." The girl grumbled quietly then turned to face him. Logan started at her appearance. She had a very slim facial structure but her eyes were entirely covered by a strip of cloth tied over them. She laughed at his reaction, "Not what you were expecting is it?" She shook her head with a wistful smile then returned to a serious expression, "Tiwa's not like you. The closest equivalent to what she is is called a 'succubus' in mythology."
"Impossible." Logan replied immediately and the girl- what had Tiwa said her name was? Cailyn?- sighed.
"Not as impossible as some of the other things I've seen. Tell me, have you seen someone shoot flames out of their hands?" Cailyn replied.
Logan hook his head, beginning to think she was messing with him.
"Well that's exactly what happens around me." Then something happened that made him collapse in shock. She burst into flames.
He froze then panicked but before he could toss dirt at her or something else he noticed something else, her clothing was fine, no greying, no charring, no burning. "Now tell me it's impossible."
Logan looked right into her bound face and scrambles upright. Then did something he expected to regret sometime in the future. He reached a hand out to the flames wreathing her body.
