Dying...

It felt like someone was pressing on my lungs, tightening them, trying to make it impossible for me to breathe. I shivered, not out of coldness, but terror, fright attacked me from every direction as death was drawing closer with every breath. I gasped for oxygen, but something stopped me from breathing it in, I closed my eyes unwillingly and waited for death. My heart was slowing by the second, and I knew soon I would be nothing but a cold, dead body, laying helplessly on the floor. Oxygen wouldn't help anymore, I needed a miracle to save me from this unbearable pain. I couldn't even writhe in agony anymore, I felt to weak. With one final, shuddering breath, I lay back and death held me in its cruel hands...

Breath Of Death

It can't been seen or felt. It can't be heard or smelt. It just lingers in the air. A presence just there. By day it lays dormant. By night relishes in torment. It seeks out a soul. To make it whole.
