Hello and welcome to my second review. Today I will be reviewing The Hunger Games. So lets get started!
=====================
The Hunger Games is set in the future, but poor and underprivileged areas still exist. The plot is that 1 boy, and 1 girl are chosen at random to leave there families, and take part in The Hunger Games. Which is basically where 24 children fight to the death on live television, and whoever is the last survivor wins.

There are 12 Districts, and 2 children are selected from each District. The main characters are: Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta
Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). THG is directed and written by Gary Ross. Director of Big (1988) and Pleasantville (1998).

It is a Action, Sci-Fi Thriller, with hints of Romance between Peeta and Katniss.

There were some cheesy lines here and there, but that simply added to the film as a whole. The visual effects were superb, but a bit of a rarity. I would have liked to see more special effects. But overall, great acting, action-packed and a 9.5/10. It doesn't get a perfect 10, for the fact that I thought it was lacking special effects. But a must-see at the cinema!

But what would you rate it? Comment on what I should review next!

"Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be forever in your favour!"
