I waited hours just to see your face,
For you to take me to a happy place,
Instead you shook your head and left,
I'd never felt so lost or bereft.
A mother should be there when I need,
To love, to cherish, to help, to feed,
Instead you act like it's s chore,
You're changing what a mother's for.
Another day, I feel forgotten,
A left-out apple, with mould, I'm rotten,
I'd run away and you wouldn't care,
Sometimes it's like I'm not even there.
