Hiding from the world,
Because no one understands,
So many different mothers,
Ask to hold so many hands.
Another bed, another room,
My really mummy's gone,
I don't know why she left me or-
What it was that I did wrong.
Another 'Call me Daddy!',
No, I can't, for you're not him,
I know that I once had a dad,
Before my life grew dim.
Another home, unwanted,
A 'problem child' at heart,
When all I want's a family,
Of which I can be a part.
