A heart's still a heart if it's made of glass,
To break it in half - the pain won't pass.
Tears of glass down a sculptured face,
A splintering loss you cannot just replace.
Shards cut so sweetly made with your love,
Broken so quickly, with merely a shove.
Don't give me your glass heart just to break,
Because there just isn't much that it would take.
Glass hearts so fragile, a thing to behold,
Hopefully ours will never grow cold.
