A Million Ways

Dropping like a piece of crystal,

Or shot, straight through with a hot pistol,

A stone thrown into a still pond,

Shattering reflections far beyond,

A spell broke on a single, simple word,

A note in a song, never to be heard,

When laughter is cut prematurely short,

Or a chocolate is missing in the assort,

Yellow daisy in a field of white,

A lonely chick that never took flight,

Left, alone, beaten and scared,

Just a bumblebee not knowing you cared,

Wishes never answered, never heard,

The loss of a heart, now transferred,

Tumbling, tripping, missing star above,

Just a million ways to shatter love.

Icicle

The rush of blood has faded to a drip, Formed icicles around my empty heart, On frozen tears my feet threaten to slip, Winter long and dark when we are apart.

You don't love me anymore

I'm still in love with your smile;. the way it explodes on your face. Creating fissures of dimples. It was a chain reaction. Because I always smiled too. I'm still in love with your voice.

Glass Hearts.

A heart's still a heart if it's made of glass, To break it in half - the pain won't pass. Tears of glass down a sculptured face, A splintering loss you cannot just replace.
