Some use words as though they're knives,
They'll slice the air and ruin lives,
Cut the mood then fear arrives,
Move through your veins in swooping dives.
Some use words to stab your throat,
To make you hate what you then wrote,
To settle, an unwanted cost,
To do their worst, but not to dote.
Some use words as weaponry,
To push, to try, to laugh, to see,
As though they'll chain, you won't be free,
Using words as their decree.
Some use words with no regard,
To hit them big, and hit them hard,
To shove them like a glassy shard,
To laugh at what a life they've marred.
