Torn

Two halves are torn
Then separated
Locked apart
Later berated.

Two halves are torn
Then pieced together
Worn and dirtied
From the weather.

Two halves are torn
Then ripped some more
Once was two
And now there's four.

Two halves are found
And sewn so slowly
It's now a masterpiece
Not so lowly.
