Part 5

After a very boring maths lesson that consisted of two people getting detentions, one getting sent to time out and another sent to the hospital wing with a pen stuck in his ear, I met Ben in the courtyard. He gave me a warm hug. I was still so amazed that he said yes that when I opened my mouth to speak nothing came out. Ben however ignored this, took my hand and we started to walk. "I suppose your wondering why I said yes to you." said Ben his manly voice making my stomach flutter.
"yeah I have. So why?" I asked him. Eagerly anticipating the answer.
"I said yes because.. I've fancied you for ages. I was so shocked that i stopped.
"you what"
"I know I should have asked you out ages ago but I was afraid you would have said no" he said as if he were annoyed with himself.
"you thought I would say no to you. You must be mad to thunk that any girl would turn you down." I smiled at him then the bell went foe the next lesson so we gave each other a quick hug and walked to our next lesson. The bell signalled the end of the day and I hurried out of class with Alice at my heels.
"so what's he like then?" Alice asked intriguingly.
" he's amazing" I said, not able to come up with a better word
"there's no point asking you is there"she said as I had all starry eyed and dreamy. She punched me playfully on the shoulder then ran. I ran after her only stopping when we got home. I said good bye to Alice and went inside to start some homework I had got during the day. Two hours later I got a text from Ben "hi babe do you want to go to the cinema with me on Saturday" I was just about to text back yes when I remembered that i was supposed to be going shopping with Alice on Saturday. I was torn between my best friend and boyfriend.
