Part 4
Half the day went by and still no answer from Ben, I was starting to think he would never answer, when I heard running footsteps, felt a hand slip into mine and a voice whisper into my ear "yes". I looked around, Ben was stood there beaming at me. I didn't know what to say so I just hugged him and he hugged me back. As I walked to class I marvelled over the face I thought Alice would make when I told her about Ben But, when I entered the classroom all of the girls ran up to me and congratulated me, gosh, news travels fast in this school. After a while Alice pulled me out from the huddle of girls and sat me down in the seat next to her. " how did you do it?" obviously amazed that Ben had said yes.
"animal magnetism" I replied a cheeky grin on my face.
