Your painstaking lipstick
So precisely applied
To make your lips seem full and rich
And lock yourself inside
The same goes for foundation
A barrier to your skin
So you can hide your pretty face
And whatever lies within
Your desperate need for blusher
To give what you can't feel
For what's the point of blushing
If its never even real?
Eyeliner, to make your eyes striking
The colour can do that alone
You don't need lashes four feet long
To call up on the phone
Why paint yourself with bottles
Of a thousand shades of pink
Or use so much mascara that
You struggle to even blink?
I'm sorry to inform you ladies
Of the 3 inch thick brigade
That plastered on makeup
Will make your true light fade
What special about you starts inside
Within your heart and mind
If you find someone who loves you for that
He will want you unconfined
Free from the laws of eyeshadow
Free from having nails varnished
He'll just want you plain and simple
True to yourself, ungarnished.

Just so you guys know, I'm not actually hitler about makeup. A little bit is fine but I don't like how being "perfect" has been ingrained in people's minds! You don't need makeup to be beautiful.
