Fall

When you fell
From the ladder,
From the pedestal
Of my unrealistic expectation,
It was a revelation.
The sound of your
Bones breaking,
With a deafening whisper,
A reality check.
It ripped through
My carefully laid plans,
Chewed them up,
Turned the map
Upside down,
So I don't know
If I'm coming,
Or going,
Or staying.
And now I'm walking
On a knife-edge,
On the border between
You and him;
The reality of
Your frailty and
The possibility
Of losing you
To a jealous mistress;
Death,
Changed everything.
More than ever
I'm trapped between
The choices
I have to make.

Saying Goodbye to You

I hear your voice. In the distance. A sudden cry for help. I run towards your crying plea. I'm sorry for the hand you've been dealt. I promised to keep you safe. But I feel I may be just too late.

Pictures Of What She Left Behind

The road of heavy hearts. The house of broken dreams. The children as they cry. Behold her as she screams. Some faces just look empty. Some are filled with pain. They don't know what to do.

Lay Her Body Down

Lay her body down. My love so beautiful that even death cries for her its sickly stain keeping the decay away. Tears fall from the sky as my soul pours from the mirror of our emotion. Can you feel it.

I Miss You, Angel

Tragedy rests on the wind. Carried on cold breath. You're falling into my arms. Mere moments before kissing death. Unspoken, shallow words. Rest lightly on pale lips. Soundlessly falling to the floor.
