Like a recurring dream
I keep falling back into you
Into your smile, hypnotic
Your arms, tempting me
Beyond what I can bear
Grasping, ripping, tearing
At my very being
Although I resist
Inside I'm dying to be near you
Even though your searing touch
Has burned everything I am
I still want to breathe your poison
In deep, into every part of me
I know I should keep away
From you, from your proximity bomb
But I already have shrapnel
In my heart
And barbed wire around my soul
So I'll let myself fall back into you
Once more
Before you go
