I'm just a daughter
Of a lack of understanding,
Of life, over-demanding,
Of not in work or training,
Of soap-opera complaining,
Of missing pieces,
Of get-my-quick releases,
Of instant gratification,
Of now-and-here orientation,
Of what I can't afford,
Of easily bored,
Of keep-on-drinking,
Of no more thinking,
Of fast-loose-free,
Of not knowing who to be,
Of bad-taste conformity:
Of modern society.
