175.Daylight Savings

Hello again, and today is Saturday, March 9, 2013. Tomorrow we have to move our clocks an hour forward because of Daylight Savings time. I find it a bit wierd that we still do Daylight Savings even though it was created for an agrarian time period and nowadays people base their schedule on the numbers of the clock rather than the brightness and position of the sun. It especially seems strange when the suicide rates jump on the day which Daylight Savings takes effect. The moving forward by an hour is just a bit counterintuitive in our modern society like believing that bleeding someone could cure their ailments when we have easy access to modern pharmaceuticals. Or at least that's what I think in my humblest of opinions.

As always,

ZenMercury,
Keep calm, and try not to kill yourself over the one hour.

I think a lot about many things, but don't like to think about one thing too much; I'm kind of a rambling man.
