Suspect (3)

Elijah was walking slowly, hand in hand with Georgie, strolling leisurely down the street in the direction of her house.

Georgie had rocked Graham's world six weeks ago and he truly believed she was his first love. She seemed to love him too, and their relationship had grown stronger and stronger every time they met.

Graham exploded inside. He desperately wanted to run off after them and confront Elijah, but he restrained himself and turned slowly back towards Oscar.

Two hours later, Graham was at his house and couldn't stand it any longer. He called Georgie. His phone rang, but halfway through he realised he wouldn't do it. Sometimes you just know if something is wrong. So instead, he just asked how she was and whether she would like to meet.

"Umm... great... I'll see you at school on Monday?
"OK, I can't wait! Bye!"
Evasive. Dismissive. Two days? What was happening.

Graham quickly glanced over his desk and something caught his eye.
