Everyone one Opuss seems relatively smart so I'll ask a question that's bugged me for ages:

It makes a vibration and creates sound waves, but I'm not convinced it causes a sound if there is no-one around to make the transformation ;-)
Depends on how you define sound. If sound is vibrations, then yes. If sound is perceived vibrations, then no.
Yes it makes a sound, just because something isn't recorded doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Sound is just vibrations. But hey, you could argue vibrations are only 'sounds' from the perspective of the receiver. Perhaps we should put microphones in the forest and see what they record ;)
