Chapter five.
Both of us soldiered on and tried to lift each others spirits, we played some of our favourite childhood tracks on the gramophone. Whilst we sorted through grandmas stuff; Stuff we wanted to keep; Stuff that was going to auction; stuff that was no good. We sorted through it room by room.
We got the worse done first by doing our own rooms and then doing grandmas room together. The grand four post bed was still in the middle of the room, it looked sad like it missed its owner. I guess we all did.
In its peak condition this room looked so grand; the bed was draped with deep green velvet; the colour scheme of oak and emerald green looked so natural and relaxing it was like being a forrest. Grandmas room was always my favourite room in the house.
