April and I were sticking our tongues out, making peace signs, we were in the back seat of Ian's car, I couldn't even remember where we were going, probably the beach, we always went to the beach together in the summer. My messy blond hair wasn't tucked under a fedora for once, we looked young, maybe 13 or 12, then I remembered, we were at my back to school party for 8th grade. I felt a hand on my shouler and tore myself away from staring at that old picture hanging on the fridge. I turned around and Adam was looking at me, concerned. "everything ok baby?" he asked. April, my bestfriend went missing last summer. I shook the grief and plastered on a fake smile and said "yea, wanna go watch a movie?" Adam smiled and said "what about 'Just Go With it?" that was one of my favorite movies, I love Adam Sandler. I know Adam hates it though, he'll probably fall asleep within 20 minutes. We started it and i sat on his lap and nestled my head on his neck. Sure enough Adam fell asleep. I got up as stealthy as I could, trying not to wake him up. I walked outside and saw there was a wedding invitation in my mail box, it had my name on it with my name on it, not my parents. Maybe it wasn't a wedding invitation.

Is the story set from a girl or a boy.....sorry - they boy would be kinda gay if he sat on someone's knee - but I doubt a girl would say she had 'dirty blonde hair' :( great story btw - completely want more!! X
