God loves you even in your darkest hours. He comforts you even in your darkest moments. He forgives you even in your darkest failures.

@Jesusfreak7

I <3 Jesus:) I am a major Jesus Freak!!! You may think it is weird to say that but I personally love to be called that:). I also love music and I absolutely love to sing praises to God. He is my inspiration and my everything. I don't know what I would do without my Holy Father. Also I am a major nerd. I LOVE to read. Just finished reading the Hunger Games Series. But my favorite series is Twilight. Don't hate. I'm happily single:) (brother said if I got one he'd beat him up; having a brother in the army can sometimes be good but other times not so much) I'm a total country girl too:)

Are you sure?.

How do you know that?.

@blindsilence scripture says so.

I see, so you have never experienced this yourself?.

So in scripture he does... But don't wait for the hugs

@blindsilence yes. Christ died for me on a cross for me to be cleansed of my sin. He died so that I could eternal life in Him. I'd you don't realize it, everyone sins wether you day you do or not. We all will be judged. We are all accountable for the things we do throughout our life. And Christ died to "cover up" those sins.

If not I'd

Everyone one sins whether you see it or not.

@blindsilence I have experienced it.

On a serious note, what does it mean that Jesus died to cleanse our sins? Are we now less sinful than before he died?

@Jesusfreak7 ok, so baring in mind that you haven't experienced it, is that it is because you do not sin or is it because you are not worthy?.

@Burrfoot no. We are still sinful people. We have a sinful nature. Christ just covers that sin. In Biblical times every family had to sacrifice the best lamb they had or the first born of their family would die. Though every year they had to have a new sacrifice. Christ was the lamb of God. He was perfect and spotless. Only He could save us. Only the blood of Christ could cover our sin.

@blindsilence sorry. I read your question wrong. I have. I in myself am not worthy but through the blood of Christ I am.

@Jesusfreak7 so if his death didn't make any difference to our sinfulness.. Why did he die to cleanse our sins and what difference did it make?

@blindsilence and yes I do sin. Everyone sins whether they think they do or not.

If his death 'covers' our sin, does that make it all square?

@Burrfoot Christ died so it would be possible for us to have a relationship with God.

@Burrfoot He died so we wouldn't have to spend eternity in Hell. He did it so we could live in Heaven where everything is literally perfect.

@Burrfoot what exactly do you mean by making it square??

What happened to people before he died?

@Burrfoot honestly in don't know. Let me take some time and actually find the answer to that in scripture. I don't want to tell you something wrong.

@Jesusfreak7 'all square' is maybe a British term meaning, evens, quits, ie his death negates our sin

@Burrfoot He does only for those who trust an believe in Him. Those who do not trust in Him and repent from their sins will be held accountable for what they have done. Just because someone is a Christian doesnt mean you can just go around and do whatever you want. A true believer has a change in their heart to want to do the right thing. They will make mistakes because we all

We all make mistakes. We can't help but sin. But a true believer doesn't make a point to.

@Burrfoot Before he died on the cross, people would still go to Heaven if they believed he was coming o be their Messiah and Savior and would save them from their sins. Jesus and God love you! So much, that nobody can grasp the amount of his love. People still sin because the devil still rules the world. God loves the devil, not because of what he does, but because God can't kill or destroy anybody. That's how much his love amounts to. God can to anything, but he would never destroy anything he loves. That is why Jesus is coming again to bring all the believers into Heaven and to create a new earth. Even then, God won't destroy the devil, but he will cast him into the lake of fire for 1,000 years. So if people knew he was the Messiah and coming to save them from their sins, then they would be saved.

😒Wish my bro cld see that. He's not Christian and it makes us sad to be so blinded to the truth xxx

@seasonfury oh. Wow that's hard. I can't imagine what that could be like. I'm here is you need any help.
