You're So Different
Part Nine
I woke up, to find David standing over me.
"David?" I mumbled.
"Tina? Are you ok??" he asked me.
"Gosh, my stomach hurts." I breathed, scrunching my nose.
"I would believe that. You took a bullet to the stomach!" he said, shaking his head.
I got up slowly and sighed deeply, making sure I was heard.
"So I'm gonna die." I huffed.
"No! I took the bullet out and wrapped your wound." he said, making clear that he was proud of himself.
"So I am going to die!" I sighed, teasing him.
He frowned.
"I find that offensive." he muttered, looking straight at me.
I laughed quietly.
He smiled, but stopped when I tightened my fists.
"What?" he asked.
I glared at him, pushing his hand away.
"What?" he asked, bewildered.
"You let them go." I growled.
His face went blank.
I sighed and pointed to the dead boss.
His face flashed with recognition.
"You were mad at the moment." he said quietly.
I slapped him forcefully.
He smiled.
"I guess I deserved that one." he laughed.
I kneed him where no man should be hit.
"Gah! I don't know about that one." he gasped.
I snickered.
He recovered quickly and grabbed my arm.
"You are so evil sometimes." he mumbled, his face inches away.
I pushed his lips away.
"Yeah, I am." I muttered.
He laughed loudly.
"Okay. So let's go." he said, walking towards the exit.
"Where?" I asked curiously.
"To my headquarters." he smirked, leaving me alone in the room.
