To make a house a home you have to make it the way you want it and not the way your crazy mother-in-law wants it (or your crazy mother etc...)
You have to make memories in it. Crazy things, sensible things and maybe the odd illegal things. (but don't tell anybody)
Your also have to feel safe, happy and proud of your house. You have to be able to walk into a room and smell the happiness and memories seeping out of the Walls into your lungs.
Once you've managed this you have officially made a house a home.
Or you could just just spend some money at B&Q - there motto is 'make a house into a home' or something like that... Anyway. Go make your house into a home unless, of course, you are underaged.
