Beautiful Inside And Out

Why does everyone think that,
If your beautiful on the inside,
Your ugly and nerdy outside,
Come with me on a mental ride.

Before 1920 men thought women,
Were too inadequate to vote,
And in 1868 blacks were free but,
Most had never read or wrote.

So now back to the present,
When you see those women in politics,
Or a book written by a black author,
We'll see the torn down the wall of bricks.

The wall of bricks that society made,
Saying that blacks were all slaves,
And women aren't smart,
Now you see what determination paves.

It paves whatever you want it to,
So if you wish to show that your beautiful,
Not only on the inside but outside to,
Go ahead and break those walls to the full.

Shut Your Mouth, Then.

If you can't speak nicely, Don't speak at all. If you don't get 'equals', Just keep your voice small. If your smile's a smirk, Then keep your face straight.

An Age Of Ignorance

Can't originality be accepted. Can't segregation be rejected. Can't oppression be deflected. Can't our causes be directed. Can't this hate remain subjected. Can't a cure just be injected.
