Love You So: PART TWO

I headed back to the dorms that evening, and got changed into some other clothes. It gave me an ample time to go and see my best friend and hopefully borrow some of her clothes so I could go and see Nate.
When I went in, she ran over to me and hugged me, crying "I'm so happy! I'm so happy!" over and over.
"Wow, calm down!" I said, sitting on her bed, "Fancy explaining for those of us who don't know why?"
"So, basically I was in my final period, sat in chemistry, and a guy passes me a note which says: 'Can we go on a date this weekend?' I knew who it was from as soon as I read the writing -"
"Okay Mollie, this is all really great but who was it from?"
"Nate." the whole world stopped. She was dating my crush now? He wasn't even my crush, he was ten times more than that. I adored him, I worshipped him. Mollie kept talking, but it all became a mash of syllables and odd words, that didn't sound harmonious like her voice normally did.
"T? Are we going to their dorms or not?" she burst my bubble, for the second time this evening. I nodded frailly, and didn't bother changing. My makeup stayed in 'school mode' and so did my clothing. I didn't feel like I needed to impress anyone.
As soon as we got to Nate's dorm, Mollie put on her blinkers and focused on him all evening. When we watched a film, I sat with Nate's friends whilst Mollie sat on his lap, laughing and acting all dumb to her own beauty as he complimented her. I couldn't stop looking across, and 99% of the time he caught my gaze, and smiled, before his attention was attracted back to the blond beauty on his knee. I left as soon as the film finished, I don't even remember what it was about. As I left, I noticed she'd fallen asleep on his shoulder, their golden hair mixing together in perfect harmony.
I knew she wouldn't be back until later, so I went back to our room and I cried. I cried and cried and cried, until the sea of sadness in my heart was dry.
