Like a box full of glass
Because everyone I've ever loved
Remains only in my past
I'm not sure what love is
And probably never will
I thought it was something magical
Not anything that could kill
It's hard to trust people today
Because everyone has their lies
And when I lose the one I love
To me, it's no surprise
They say seeing is believing
And I've seen love before
Only most times it doesn't last

A dream lost A dream forgotten Follow your heart Or you'll feel rotten Heart or head. Which will you choose. But then who's there to break the news.
Who would want a heart like mine. It's been broken so many times. Scars that will never heal. Cynicism beyond its years. A heart that needs to love but falls for the wrong person every time.
There's an illness seeping through my skin. A reckless torture brewing within. They say it's the result of my pursued life of sin. A feeling is missing from my wasteful existence.
What's the point of talking. Is it because I am the one who is walking. What's the point of flowers. Is it because now I am quiet for hours. What's the point of kissing.
A broken heart; There must be a start. Who committed the crime, Took away your time. Are the effects long while, How long till you smile.
My heart is covered over, With the finest sheen of ice, Nothing ever will break through, It sets the highest price.
