I woke up, staring at the ceiling, thinking about what had happened. I turned my head as flashbacks pierced my memories and I saw the broad back of my 'boyfriend' as he slept. 'Why did he find it so easy to sleep' the thought angered me, he knew things weren't right between us but yet he continued to sleep peacefully while I was plagued with thoughts.
I rolled out of bed and began to get dressed, 'I would have a shower at home' I thought. I looked around for my glasses and saw he had put them near his, I went to pick them up, dropping a shoe as I did so.
"Baby?" he began to sat up as I stayed frozen. "Where are you going?"
I kept my back facing him as I answered "I'm going home before class, forgot some stuff"
"I thought you brought all your stuff, I thought you was going to stay for the week?" he said with a sad tone
I didn't know what to say 'Should I go?' 'But if I go, another girl will just take my place right?' 'But he said he is cheating on me...he loves me' 'But everyone is saying he is cheating on me'
I felt his strong arms wrap around my stomach as he rested his chin on my shoulder.
"what is wrong?" he whispered softly in my ear, kissing my neck. A tear rolled down my cheek as I dropped my stuff "I don't trust you...I don't trust you at all"
He turned me around as he heard my voice break and said the same line he said the previous night "I love you, I'm sorry I've hurt you but please trust me"
He looked so serious when he said it, he hugged me tight and started tugging at my clothes.
I sighed and stopped fighting him as I let go I thought about 'how it should be'.
