Some people say love is bad and you should be careful with it and once your heart is broken, you'll never be the same. I think love is good. Here's a poem that includes both points of view.
I look at you and WHAM,
I'm head over heels,
I guess that love,
Is a banana peel.
Love is a garden,
And if you let it go,
It fades away before you eyes.
It needs help to grow.
Love is like a blanket,
It keeps your heart warm,
Love is a shield,
It protects you from harm.
A sunrise,
Burning with romance,
An upbeat song,
That makes you want to dance.
Love is like a sunset,
Where it never grows dark.
Love can be hard, but easy,
Like a walk in the park.
Love is sleep,
One full of dreams.
Talking to the one you cherish,
Makes your heart grows wings.
Love is a journey,
Full of twists and turns,
But love is a flame,
If you touch it, it burns
Love is a fire,
It burns and sparks.
Once it ditches you,
It leaves an everlasting mark.
Love is like a painting,
Filled with colors and shades,
But our love was like a bleeding heart,
Cut with razor sharp blades.
But don't fear to love,
For it's the most wonderful thing.
Staying with the one you love forever,
'Cause they gave you a ring.
