Wipe Your Tears In Front Of Me

Wrap your arms around me
Shielded in your history
Bathe my mind in mystery
Changing life's - our destiny

Wrap your words around me
Guided in your sanctuary
Laughing in ill company
Wasted life's - don't pity

Wrap your legs around me
Blinded by profanity
Releasing all your jealousy
Another life - we can't feed

Wipe your tears in front of me
Weeping for humanity
Shedding all humility
A higher race - we all believe

Beautiful. Quite musical. I like the last lines in each of the stanzas the best.

absolutely outstanding, this gave me chills! You have a gift

@serenityeverard thank you, glad you like it ;-)

@meganelisabeth wow, thanks. Isn't it funny how some like stuff more than others, lol only took 10mins to do, while having a fag break :-) glad you liked it

@smellyfingers always the way! What I feel is my best work barely anyone's liked however my more average stuff is proving more popular! Weird lol. I find with stuff that took no time it works better because I haven't nitpicked over it and spent ages changing and over thinking. Comes more from the heart then too so is clearer!

@meganelisabeth yeah I know hun, less thinking more writing, lol I tend to just write what I'm thinking and I write on iPhone in the "notes" feature, so for me, it's easier to get it all out, predictive text helps, I'm dyslexic and punctuation isn't my strongest thing, lol it may sound weird but when I write I kind of get tunnel vision and zone out, sometimes I try to put myself in the mind of the subject I'm talking about (how would they feel, what would they say, how would they react ect ect) I was rubbish at school and left at 14 and only started writing 2-ish months ago, so I'm still new and learning new ways to say things and do things. I'm blown away by the support and comments, truly amazing. Thanks again x
