Forever Young

So much hope and ambition, i remember the day.
Taken too early, now so far away.

Life emptied out, memories all thats left.
Reality hits me, takes the breath from my chest.

Everything over, in a moment, a second.
Removed from this life and sent straight up to heaven.

No future for them, they'll never grow old.
Young they shall stay, though their stories still told.

Frozen in time, not a day now goes by, when someone who knew them won't look up to the sky.

And wish they were back here, reality unstrung.
Now just stars in the sky;

Forever Young.
