The Fisherman And His Wife (fairytales Revamped)

She stands before the mirror, draped in black green and gold, her riches surround her, but she cannot be happy when there is so much else to have....

Fetch me the fish, she orders in a wail, although the fish is beginning to become quite pale...

The fish is laid before her, she makes another wish...

But upon this fish she has wished enough, and the sea surrounding her becomes dark, the spiritual men warn of a vengeful force at work....

And that night as the queen heads to her quarters, dressed in black green and gold, she learns Of the mistake she's made and from herself she shall behold...

For as she stands in the pale moon light, she lets out quite the cry, as she begins to gasp and choke, and slowly begins to die...

For in the pale moonlight she sees her own reflection...

Her once clear pale skin is tarnished by black and red stains, which read aloud will tell you...

"Be careful what you wish for"

@Latrodectus

Hi, I'm Latrodectus, but you can call me Lat. I'm 14 and I love to write. I write at least 1 or 2 times a week and write everything from acrostics to opinion posts (and everything in-between) I'm also writing my first ever book/full story "The Darkworld Chronicles." I write to help find myself and who I really am and to help me deal with life's problems and stresses. I like drawing, acting, singing and gymnastics but don't like algebra, sport or swimming. My interests vary wildly (as do my works) and I feel it gives me some variety. Thanks for reading this, have fun in my world of writing :) ~Lat
