It wasn't right for you to do that,
But doing it back just makes it worse,
I'm not usually one for taking sides,
But right now I think I know what's right,
Because I have been in the same position as you are in now,
And I know how it feels,
When everybody you love just turns against you,
I understand,
But please don't leave,
Because running away won't change anything,
Putting it right will,
As a certain someone once said:
You can't change the past, but you can decide your future,
I would miss you more than anything,
And I know you would regret doing this,
So, please,
I'm not going to force you to do anything,
But you know what's right...

This was a poem I wrote for my best friend last year when I felt I was taking up all of her time and energy.... She's still my best friend, and I love her. I'm sorry.

You may be miles away. But in my heart you'll always stay. Helping me keep my darkest fears at bay. Promising life won't always feel this way. You listen to me. Help me clear the fog, so I can see.
