I remember this young girl.. While some people often get that bad stroke of luck at times, she saw it more often then any one should have. She was a thinker, not a talker. Her pencils were her words she could never get out. Her drawings were her reflection of life. There was somebody inside that little girl who wanted go escape and be what it was meant to be. She was a dreamer. She knew what she wanted her life to be. Sure it always changed, and her bad luck hit her way too often, but her optimism on life was like no other. I remember at the age of 6 that little girl spent hours alone making the perfect mothers day card. That wide gaze of happiness and that twinkle in her eye, and all that shattered when her mother threw it away, right in front of her. A part of her died. A part of her lost the first of many things she was about to lose later on in life. To this day I remember that little girl. She's not so little anymore. My heart shatters for her. If I had a dollar for every good deed she did that was thrown back in her face, I'd be stinking rich. She knew what she wanted out of life, she just wasn't so sure she had the heart to go on and live like this. I remember that little girl, who put on the bravest face you could ever imagine, but stayed up till
Everyone was asleep and let it all out. I remember the way she stared and though about herself, they way she lost that determination that trapped soul inside of her to get out and run after it's life. That girl soon grew up. On the 26th oct. 2012, that purpose came back. That little girl who once believed in the real magic in life came back. The feeling of two souls connecting was like no other, it made her powerful, it reminded her of the days she would sit in the corner, while the rain tapped softly on the window, and she would sketch out little pieces of life. All those moments she lived after that where of bliss she had once only seen happened in movies and her friends. I remember that girl who isn't so little anymore.. I remember the day life had it last laugh. ruined , crushed , destroyed that girl.
I remember that little girl, who isn't so little anymore.. She's still wandering around trying to wonder out what life has against her.
That little girl who isn't so little anymore.. Is sitting here writing this.. And that girl who isn't so little anymore.. Wishes she was little once more..
