Mini man
Too young,
To understand
Of things unsung,
I hate what you've been through
My poor mini man,
I don't know what to do
Or if this is part of natures plan,
Seeing mummy crying
Bruised and beat,
Daddy always lying
As he jumps to his feet,
He's runs out the door
Leaving us alone,
You left wondering what for?
Why daddy left us on our own?
I know they call mummy crazy
Someone strange and cold,
But know when I see you baby
Loves sanity takes its hold,
Mummy may not be strong
But know she tries,
And although we may never belong
Everything makes sense when she looks into your eyes,
So many years on daddy I wasted
But never on you my mini king,
Even after all the tears I've tasted
Pure happiness and joy you bring,
You'll always be the apple of my eye
Even if I am a bit crazy,
So there's no need to cry
Because I don't let what they say phase me,
I'm sorry it's just you and me
But I'll be both mum and dad,
And hopefully one day you'll see
That it wasn't you and you won't be sad,
Only true love for my mini man
Know your mummy's a fighter,
No one will ever understand
But your a star and none will shine brighter.
