Guns and blood and fighting
It's "just another war"
I honestly can't believe it
We've seen this all before.

But people keep on fighting,
More nameless faces gone
How can this be right..
When killing is so wrong?

I was reading a book based in the time of Ireland's fight for independence earlier (one of my favourite history topics.. I don't really know why) and I kind of guess that is where the idea for this came from.. I'm strongly opposed to that "Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori" belief. It isn't sweet and right. Nobody should die for their country, and nobody should have another person's blood on their hands for a country.
I'm Irish. I'm honestly very proud of my nationality. Yeah, I would love for the whole country to be its own. But there's better ways to do it than scarring your mind with death.
I respect other people's opinions, naturally. I just tend to rant a bit.
