I was walking through town,
Not a cloud in the sky.
Hotter than an oven,
Hotter than that guy.
"That guy" named example A, gave me a glare.
Not a wave, oh no, just a simple stare.
That must be his style, swagger was his middle name. He walked with pride, but I could see his pain.
I see the pain he is hiding, behind those deep blue eyes. Nice front though, covers up the torture and lies.
As he walks away he leaves a trail of despair.
He's hungry for help, he's hungry for care.
What you don't see don't hurt, what you don't know don't hurt. But I'll tell you something, it's hurting him. You don't know, does hurt. You don't see, does hurt.
He has stories that are forbidden. He has stories that are unforgiven.
He has stories that will put you to shame, he has stories that are a mad mans game.
The sky goes grey, the birds go quiet. The sky goes black, everyone's silent.
Example A, gets violent.
As he rants and raves, everyone runs away. All of a sudden everyone is fighting for there way.
I don't, I stand. I offer a helping hand. He cries.
As he screams for help a soulful of lies come shouting out, I watch with doubt.
He takes my hand and appreciates me, he finally waves and introduces him self as lee.
The sun comes back and do does his smile, he wines "it's been a while".
All he needed was someone to care, as we walk of to the distance... so does his memory.
