Greed once again reared its ugly head
Planted in the mind of a woman riches led
Reaping fruits from true of heart
Discarding friendships with no regard
People once cherished, years lovingly spent
Are now forgotten, irrelevant
Long gone is respect
Now pawns in her wrath
Thrown to the ground to pave her path
Smiling sweetly like butter wouldn't melt
Spitting on those who cowered and knelt
So goes the saying, now it's plain to see
One should never mix friendships with money
