Gossip is all I hear from you,
It drips right past your lips
Like water, only it's not blue,
It's black as your fingertips.
I'd like to stick you with a pin,
To see what's really inside.
But I'm afraid you'd leak out liquid tin,
The color of your pride.
I ignore the lies you say,
As long as they're not about me.
Which was my only mistake, I pray,
Though a big mistake it would be.
If you tell him he's a treat
And then stab him in the back,
I'm afraid that when you call me sweet,
You're really planning an attack.
So I spin myself around,
Away from your petty lies and tales.
Here now, you're the only clown,
Two personalities, both will fail.
