Night

Darkness welcomed,
With the coming of the moon,
Stars befriended,
Our dreams end soon,
Night has beauty,
Majority missed,
Owls on duty,
Midnight kissed.
Eyes heavy,
With the yearn for sleep,
Cradling a crying baby,
Some people weep.
Night is a curtain,
That allows us all,
To relieve burdens,
And leave worries fall.
It brings peace,
Echoing silence,
A natural release,
Souls are cleansed,
Life continues on,
Time being passed,
With its own natural song.
A new scenery,
Seen through eyes black and white,
Shadows creep from greenery,
Celebrating the return of night.
As only night dwellers can see,
That the moon smiles,
And shines for each,
Reminding that at night we are free!
From worry and stress,
From life's expectations,
Allowed to sit in the grass,
And admire nights sensations!
