That brilliant stereotype,
I'm not confident,
I can barely look her in the eye,
But I know hers are beautiful,
I really like her,
She would like me,
If I could tell her,
But I can't
I'm the quiet shy and self conscious ladies man,
But I'm more a boy,
Awkward and unsubtle,
She loves the attention
But wants more,
My silent words
And empty gaze
Invisible presence
And radiant shyness
Not enough.
I'm the new kind,
The underground gentleman,
Driven away by loud mouthed hits,
I would be perfect,
If only I could talk to you.
