The taste of disappointment
Such a bitter taste indeed.
It's one that I grew up on
One that was in my feed.
The horrid taste of it
Haunts my very buds.
If only I had hope...
If the taste of it could flood.
But now I've grown to like the taste,
Bitter I've become.
If you can't join them, beat them.
Not all wars can be won.

Just a some what "odd" girl, living in what feels like a glass box. Hello Opuss, the savour of my sanity. my little private world amongst a life of being watched and watching.
The words they get stuck in my throat, My heart's lodged with a shard. I never knew I'd struggle so much, That this would be so hard.

Caged heart, Agitated soul; Truth suppressed, By vows you've sworn. Throne denies Battle of desires; Jailed in a mansion, To preserve the troth.
I need to vent my anger. By standing in the rain. I need to vent my anger. To wash away all my pain. When the rain falls. They can't see my tears. My heavy, hot tears. That burn down with my fears.
I put a brave face on for you all to see. The smiling polite young man expected of me. Can't you see my eyes don't smile at you anymore. Filled with a pain of betrayal they look to the floor.
Where are you.
I regret what I said, I didn't mean it at all. I was just mad, I don't want to brawl. I regret what I did, When I said those words. Like a slap in the face, I couldn't of said worse.
Your body is like a light, able to hold life. My body is like a vase; cracked and broken so nothing remains. Some can be lucky, yet all the same; able to hold seed, then life you can name.
@sjw thank you for the concern π inspired by something quite silly really. I just really fancied Mexican food for dinner. Came home to find a British breakfast waiting for me... πβΊ inspired me all the same π x
