Drowned

Rope binds my wrists,
So tight it bites the skin.
Attached is a weight...
Time to repay for my sin.

You flipped a coin,
That's what decided my fate.
My luck has run out...
And then you pushed my weight.

I plunge into the deep,
Gasping for all that air.
But my mouth just fills with water.
Your face shows no care.

How must it've been to watch?
To see your lover drown.
My blood is on your hands,
You chose to believe the town.

I never was a killer,
Nor a whore or witch too.
All I was I shared...
And I shared that with you.

I hoped you would believe me.
I only wish now you cared,
You've murder me, a innocent.
But my anger never flared.

Only sadness and sorrow.
That lump in the back of my throat.
Those hot and heavy tears.
They didn't help me float.

For you I took the grave,
You killed me for yourself.
I hope you can keep your reputation,
And now you'll keep your wealth.

At least I hope you'll morn me.
My murderer, my dear.
I hope this was what you wanted.
For this water isn't clear.

I hope too see you one day.
You can tell me then for real...
If you ever did believe me...
Or if you just wanted to kill.
