I had a love for you,
One that swelled my heart,
When you broke it and it burst,
It tore my world apart.
The tears you caused, filled oceans...
And inside were little fish,
They swam amongst self pity...
And the long heart mending wish.
My hands they trembled and quaked,
Enough to split the world.
Cities sank in the craters of loss...
And the sobs became angry yells.
My shouts were hard and heavy,
Bringing hot lava to light,
Burning with hot emotion,
My body resisted the fight.
Then came the acceptance,
Like the wind I exhaled...
Knowing that my world...
Wasn't the one who'd failed.
