The Kitchen. After all, Alex Rogers was found with cuts on his body. I scrambled into the room. cream marble walls crept down from the ceiling, meeting nicely at the heated, tiled floor. Cupboards lay everywhere, containing hundreds of miscellaneous tools, and hopefully the one that I was looking for.
I was in a rush, and needed to crack on with the case. I yanked the first handle I could see. 100 shiny spoons lay in front of me. Another cupboard. Gleaming bowls. Cupboard after cupboard, disappointment after disappointment, I stared in depression at the final handle. Yet another yank, but this time I was greeted by just a single knife and a small box.
Rogers was an immaculate, quiet guy, so I suppose that it sort of added up, the one knife situation. The box was still a mystery. I slipped it into my hands, and threw the lid off. A black rubber handle leapt up a small object, leading on to the deadly, razor sharp metal at the tip. A doctor’s scalpel. The murder weapon.
“Found the weapon!” I exclaimed. triumphant at last!
“Oh, a scalpel, that’s strange…” Wells puzzled.
“No time for wondering what is strange or not! We have to start following leads. Johnson, how many surgeries in this area? Wells, I need you to go back to the office and start tracing his financial life. Let’s track this killer down, as soon as we can”. I ordered, feeling the hastiness of the situation.
“Two major surgeries: Stitchback Hospital and Cutoff Place,” Johnson reported “Forensics will quickly borrow the scalpel to take fingerprints, and you can then have it as evidence, if you need. Anything else?”
“You just stay with the team here, let me know if you find anything”
After waiting and acquiring the scalpel, I headed out of the front door of the house.
YOU DECIDE:
1: Go to Stitchback Hospital
2: Go to Cutoff Place
3: Go to Forensics Lab
