I awoke in an unfamiliar place. It was quiet, I heard only raindrops tapping on the glass.
"Oh, are you ok?"
I saw an old woman walking toward me with a tray. She looked very tired.
"Um.. Where I am?.."
"Don't worry, I thought that your injury is bad.. And you said that you need a loneliness... You said something after that... I didn't hear."
"My injury?!"- I stood up.
"Oh! Sit on the bed! You will make a blood rain!"
That woman was kidding. Blood rain. Huh. Only two drops of blood.
"Whoa! Where is it comes?! So much blood!"- I shouted.
The woman smiled and offer me to sit. I sat.
"Here,"- she pointed on my leg.-"Please, be careful."
"Okay.. Did you see the person who punched me?"
"Mmm.. No. There was only corpse of old beer drinker..."
"You saw him?!"
"If course! I'm not that blind!"
"Did you try to call police?"
"Nope. I've seen the only alive human on the street..."
That woman was a healer at war. I said "thanks" to her and went home.
The body of Emily was still lying on the floor.
"Sorry, I couldn't save you."
Then I begin to cry. I know. I'm a man. But I can't suffer anymore. What the time? Kill time.
I sat on the sofa in front of TV.
"Breaking News!"
"What the hell are going on?"- I thought.
"Alexandra Blue the woman who found a corpse of a man. Alexandra, please, describe him."
"Well... He was drunk. The smell wasn't good... He was all in blood. When I saw him on the bench, I shouted. That street was like dead... I went there to visit my grandmother. And the main detail.. The dead man was holding a knife, so we have his fingerprints now. And I organized the group of experts. They will ask everyone in the town for fingerprints. Now we can find a murderer. And you know, I'm a detective!"
"Oh, amazing. Do you think, who is the murderer?"
"I don't really know, but I think that we are closer to the finish of this story."
"Thank you, Alexandra! Breaking news!"
My eyes were wide open. They will come to my house and see the corpse of Emily! Oh my gosh.
