Barry was sure he would find it. He was already risking his job, but he needed to be sure. He kept scanning until, he came across the phone's history. He noticed a number of calls had been made to a certain Jonathan. He was of course, using Michael's phone.
Elsewhere ...
Rob woke up, hungover, and in Kylie's apartment. She'd left a note which read:Gone to work, c u later. He smirked, looked at the note for a bit ... And then rushed out.
He'd just realised, he was late for work.
"and where have you been?" questioned Jonathan. He seemed to be tired and emotional.
"Sorry, I was held up. But I'm here now and that's the main thing."
Jonathan gave him a look, that told Robert that he understood, but not to be late again. Jonathan was working on a Land Rover. It was a surprise the owner didn't turn up to get it.
Meanwhile ...
"Boss, I know who the killer is!" Kylie seemed certain now.
"Well, what are you doing here?" said her boss
"Well I thought I should keep you updated?"
"Nonsense ... Just go and do your thing. Oh an don't let me down!"
She stopped in the mechanic's shop.
"Oh, hey!" it was Rob. He'd noticed her pulling up straight away.
"Hi."
At that moment, Jonathan's phone rang. He looked at it. To the 41year old's horror, it was Michael who was ringing him. Impossible he thought, considering he'd disposed of Michael last night. Suddenly it fell into place. It was either the Police, or Barry. He rejected the call and then called to Rob
"Rob, got a job for you. Go get me a new sim card from O2 a couple of miles away. Take your time."
"Okay boss." Rob said goodbye to Kylie, who was heading out 'shopping', and left.
Kylie went to her car, got in, and waited. When she saw Rob's car go, she called the police.
Barry was on patrol when suddenly a call came in saying they'd received a tip-off from Kylie Symmons of the assassin's whereabouts. He loaded up his gun, and drove to the place.
